Traditional Barber
Some stories don't start in a shop.
They start at home.
With a father. With scissors. With a dream.
At the age of fourteen, Wim van der Velden from Boxtel began his training as a barber. Young, determined, and with respect for the craft.
In a time when craftsmanship was still passed down from master to apprentice. Where discipline was more important than speed. Where style was something you earned.
He learned the trade in Amsterdam and Den Bosch, among other places. He refined his technique. He built character.
And as befits a true barber, he opened his own salon on the Baanderherenweg in Boxtel. No frills. No trends. Only quality, attention, and honest conversations in the chair.
Years turned into decades. Clients became fathers. Sons took the seats where their fathers once sat. Until his retirement, he remained where he belonged: behind the chair.
His salon was taken over, but his name, his mentality, and his way of working live on.
Barbercorner Grazie Papa is not a concept.
It is a tribute.
To my father.
To his hands.
To his craft.
Here, it's not about haste.
Here, it's about tradition.
About the scent of aftershave.
About warm lather.
About the sound of steel on leather.
A place where generations come together.
Where style is timeless.
Where respect is tangible.
Grazie Papa.
Per sempre.
